Making space for others can be bumpy for a new mom. Moms are biologically supposed to take in their young and love them. So, what happens when roadblocks prevent solidifying that connection?

The questions below help us navigate the complexities new moms can face when identifying their new role while managing the connections in existing roles after welcoming a little one into their environment.

Take a moment and reflect on how your perspective can impact this process. How can you help? What expectations should you let go of? How does your relationship change as they establish their new normal?
